Handgun Accuracy
When considering which handgun to purchase,
accuracy is an especially important aspect to think about.
In order to ascertain what type of handgun to purchase, you
must first decide
what you will be using it for. For example, if you’re
using it for competition shooting, then your gun has to be
more accurate than if you’re buying for home defense
or just pleasure shooting. Obviously more accuracy is desirable
regardless of a gun’s use, but price is also a factor,
and handguns with more accuracy are more expensive than those
without the same degree of precision.
Accuracy of handguns is typically measured
by the proximity of hits at 25 yards. For example, a handgun
may have an accuracy guarantee of 1” groups at 25 yards,
meaning that when fired by a Ransom machine rest with one
of 7 ammunition types, five consecutive shots will be grouped
in a size of no more than 1” when shooting at a distance
of 25 yards. These accuracies vary with numbers such as 2
½” at 25 yards and give an idea of what to expect
from a handgun. These guarantees don’t mean that you
will shoot groups of 1”, since user experience and error
affects accuracy.
All the handguns available at Proguns.com
are superiorly accurate and many come with accuracy guarantees
of up to 1” at 25 yards. Regardless of which make or
model you choose, you can be sure that we only offer the best
of the best to ensure you get a quality handgun with the accuracy
