the Pro TLE/RL II is available in both stainless steel and
steel finished with KimPro™. While the stainless steel
adds a classic style to this 1911 handgun, the finish on the
steel model gives an extra durability. KimPro™ is designed
to prevent corrosion, is resistant to salt, sweat, and UV
rays, and is self lubricating. These features mean that your
gun is better protected than on without KimPro™. The
Kimber Pro TLE/RL II also offers:

Standard on the Kimber Pro TLE/RL II and
Stainless Pro TLE/RL II are Kimber’s Meprolight Tritium
3-dot night with a fixed radius 5.7 inches. These sights help
with quicker target acquisition and also to aim in low light
situations. Consider also that even after having fired over
20,000 rounds, Kimber aluminum frames have not shown evidence
of meaningful wear. This fact means that not only is the Kimber
Pro TLE/RL II lighter than a steel version, but it’s
